Final Step Needed to Protect the Bering Sea!

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council voted unanimously last year to “freeze the footprint” of bottom trawling in the Bering Sea. Now, another government agency - the National Marine Fisheries Service – is moving to turn the Council’s decision into final, in-the-water regulations that will go into effect this summer.

One final comment period separates us from protecting 180,000 square miles of vital seafloor habitat. Please send a letter in support of this final hurdle by Monday, April 21.
